School lunch peanut butter bars:



½ c butter, softened
½ c shortening
1 c brown sugar, packed
2 lrg. eggs
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 c peanut butter
2 c. flour
2 c. oats, quick
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp salt
Frosting:
¼ c. Shortening
2 tbsp cocoa
3 tbsp milk
½ lb powdered sugar

Cream butter, shortening, & sugar. Add eggs, milk, & vanilla. Mix in peanut butter. Add dry ingredients. Spread on a 13x 18 cookie sheet. Bake at 325 for 15-20 min.
Frosting: Combine shortening, cocoa, milk, & powdered sugar. Mix with electric mixer until fluffy. Frost bars while still warm. Let cool & cut into bars.
