Twinkies, Ding Dongs:




Bake cupcakes from any yellow, pineapple, or chocolate cake mix or from yellow, pineapple or chocolate scratch recipe. Don’t frost. Mix together.
5 tbsp flour
1 c. milk
5 tbsp sugar
1 c. milk
Cook stirring constantly until mixture come to a boil. Cool completely
Add:
½ c margarine
¾ c sugar dash salt
½ c shortening
1 tsp vanilla
Beat at high speed 3-5 min. until fluffy. Fill cake decorator with this mixture, insert tip in center top of cupcakes & fill until cupcake bulges. This recipe makes enough filing for two batches.
