Spaghetti and Meatballs



Sauce:
1 can diced tomatoes (28 oz)
1 can tomato sauce ( 28 oz)
1 small can tomato paste (14 oz)
2 bay leaves
½ tsp garlic salt
½ tsp granulated garlic
½ tbsp minced onion
1 ½ tsp oregano
1 tbsp parsley flakes
1 tsp minced garlic

Add the above ingredients and simmer while preparing meatballs.
½ lb mild Italian sausage (optional)
1 ½ lbs ground beef (optional)
Mushrooms (optional)
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Meatballs:
1 ½ lbs beef or pork or mixture of both (I only use beef)
¼ cup parmesan
1 large slightly beaten egg
½ c Italian bread crumbs
2 Tbsp minced garlic
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
½ cup milk
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp parsley

Roll into medium sized balls. Cook @ 350 for 25 minutes. Add to sauce and simmer.
